Warming and Cooling Center Updates

City of Canton Winter Warming Shelter

Open Beginning Monday, December 1, 2025
Hours: 8:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m

Location: St. Paul AME Church, 1800 Tuscarawas St. E, 44707

Guests will be admitted on a first come, first served basis. Space is limited. Food and water available.
Transportation: SARTA will provide transportation to the warming shelter during regular
operating hours. Route #107 will take guests to St. Paul AME Church. Individuals can access
SARTA from any regular bus stop to the Cornerstone Transit Center on Cherry Ave. Riders must
tell drivers they are in route to the warming shelter for bus fare to be waived. If transportation is
needed when SARTA is not available, please call City of Canton dispatch at 330.649.5800.
